The fact is it is not difficult to attract Bluebirds and the single best way to do that is with a couple of nest boxes placed in good locations as we pointed out in previous blogs. It’s the bluebird equivalent of putting advertising hoardings on the side of the freeway, where people will see them, rather than three miles down a dirt road, where they won’t.Everybody would like to attract Bluebirds. That way, it stands a better chance of catching their eye and drawing them in. So if possible, to attract them to your feeder, hang it at least seven feet up.
